Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) Process

  1. Go to the SSPR website by clicking on this link: https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/
  2. Enter the email address that requires a password reset
  3. Complete the characters in the picture
  4. Click Next

  1. Select “text my mobile phone” for Microsoft to send a One-Time PIN (OTP) via SMS
  2. Enter the mobile number that you registered with
  3. Click Text

  1. Enter the OTP that was sent to you via SMS
  2. Click Next

  1. Enter a new password and confirm the same password
  2. Click Finish

NB* Adhere to the password policy by using the following guidelines:

  • 8 characters or more
  • 1 capital letter, 1 number and 1 special character
  • Do not use any of the previous 5 passwords
